A rabbit from an alternate reality populated by cartoon animals, Rodney was a kind-hearted cartoonist until he ate a cosmic carrot. Captain Carrot, gifted with superpowers, joins the Zoo Team. Through many zany adventures, they meet Superman and Starro the Conqueror. When their world is threatened, the Zoo Team takes its inhabitants to New Earth, where they transform into ordinary animals. Carrot becomes a stage rabbit, before regaining his powers and battling Darkseid during the Final Crisis. He is a member of the Earth-26 multiverse superhero team Justice Incarnate. They battle the Gentry and their Oblivion Machine, and the Legion of Doom when Earth's heroes attempt to repair the shattered Source Wall.
